Reboots and revivals are still big business in Hollywood and they aren’t going away anytime soon. For her next project, Lovecraft Country and Snowfall writer Ihuoma Ofordire will be penning the script for the Warner Bros and Charles D. King ’s MACRO-backed reboot of Cleopatra Jones . The original film, which debuted in 1973 amid the height of the Blaxploitation era, starred Tamara Dobson who worked as an undercover government agent. She used her daytime job as a supermodel to go undercover, travel to exotic places, and get involved in the war on drugs.
